Chris has always relished helping others. This desire led Chris on a unique path to the practice of law. At every stop along the way, Chris was driven by his desire to do more for his clients.
Over the course of his career, Chris has managed multi-million-dollar budgets, originated and underwrote approximately a quarter billion dollars in commercial loans and leases, managed staffs from 2-25 people, planned major events, and served on several boards and committees. Of all these experiences, Chris is most proud of the relationships he has formed along the way. He is humbled that many of his original clients from almost 20 years ago still call him for advice.
After beginning his career in the financial sector, Chris realized that he had a particular interest in assisting business owners and he soon became a commercial banker. Chris enjoyed building relationships with clients that went well beyond just completing a transaction. He became a trusted advisor to his clients handling commercial real estate transactions, capital management, leasing, insurance, and many other services.
After a decade in the banking industry, Chris became the treasurer for a non-profit 501c organization in Columbus, OH. While serving in this capacity he helped create new fiscal policy to help guide the organization through difficult financial times, while also handling the day-to-day financial management of the organization.
Chris returned to school and graduated from Capital University Law School with a concentration in alternative dispute resolution. At Capital, Chris was a Presidential Scholar and received the Dean’s Award for outstanding Pro Bono service.
Chris is a proud graduate of The Ohio State University where he earned a B.A. in Political Science. Chris lives with his wife Angie and their two daughters in Windermere, FL. In his leisure time, Chris enjoys watching college athletics, coaching high school athletics, mentoring youth, and traveling.
